The Clean School Bus Program (CSBP) in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law provides for an unprecedented level of funding to update U.S. school bus fleets. To date, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded almost $3 billion to fund approximately 8,500 bus replacements at over 1,000 school districts. With up to $965 million in rebates available under the new round of CSBP funding, now is the time to learn more.
Effective, efficient, and equitable implementation of electric buses within a fleet requires planning. To aid school districts, GaCCA partners, including Mothers & Others For Clean Air, are hosting a webinar that will:
Explain the Clean School Bus program funding opportunity and resources by EPA Region 4 staff
Feature two districts that have electric buses in their fleet
Discuss utility considerations
Highlight the cost, health and emissions benefits of electrification.
If you are a school district looking to learn more about the various benefits and considerations of electric school buses, join us on Oct. 11, 1-2:30 p.m. EST.
